"My
75 year old dad accidentally knocked his
stylus off his MCS (old JCPenney brand)
turntable and tried to get a new one
thru his local Radio Shack. After
weeks and weeks of waiting to hear back
from them they told him they could not
locate it. He then asked me if I
could search the internet and I came
across Sounds By Dave. I wrote to
them and got a prompt reply back from
Bruce. He sent us a stylus by
using the model number and stylus number
but unfortunately that one didn't
work. My dad and I finally
smartened up and sent Bruce the entire
cartridge and lo and behold we had the
correct new stylus back in our hands
within a week.
I
cannot say enough about the great
customer service we got thru
Bruce. My dad is in heaven, he can
now listen again to his 40+ year old
albums in addition to his CD's.

figure out what it was at first. She read the instructions page of the unit and

We put the stylus on the record player and it sounds great. I brought over some
big band records that my 86 year old uncle left me and WOW. Not as good as CD
or DAT, but it was really cool.

"I would like to give " SOUNDS By Dave " a positive
feedback. Fore some weeks ago I was in a fleemarked in Oslo. I bought and
Lenco Record Player from about 1970. This Lenco was in absolute perfect
condition. The only thing that was broke was the stylish (needle) I tried to
buy and new one in Oslo, but noo...that was not so easy. I was visiting many
diffrent shops, but they all said the same " Sorry we don't have it " What
should I do now ??

Then I started to look on the internett for and new needle on my coputer , and
then I found and shop with the name " SOUNDS By Dave " I sendt and E mail to
this shop, and told them my problem. On my reply the said YES, we can
help you.

Wow that's great....so I told them to sendt me by mail two needles to my Lenco.
So they did, and today is my Lenco record player in mint condition. Great
transaction. Fast and well packed item sendt to me in Norway. It was a pleasure
to do business with this shop. I appreciate it, THANKS. My best regards

"When I needed a new
stylus for my aging turntable, I went on line to see what was available.
My first stop was the first listing to come up on my search engine.
I encountered a rather terse and smug salesperson who managed to
completely alienate me in a matter of minutes. My next stop was Sounds By
Dave. My reception there was a far cry from my previous experience.
My call was received
by an attentive, knowledgeable and extremely friendly salesperson. After
answering a few questions and outlining my personal preferences, Bruce (the
staff member that handled my request) informed me that he'd have to do a bit of
research and would get back to me. A few hours later, he called,
informed me that he'd found a stylus and my problem was solved.
I've been a businessman myself for more than 30 years. These days, with
the advent of the megastore and impersonal on-line shopping, it's rare to

"I searched half a dozen web sites for a stylus for an older
Audio Technica cartridge. Bruce Thompson of 'Sounds By Dave' responded within
24 hours (as a matter of fact he was the only one to respond) with information
on this particular stylus. After placing my order, Bruce took the time to make
sure I would properly set up and install my new stylus. It was shipped
immediately and I received it in about 4 days. Bruce then wrote a follow up

you know I received the stylus for my Sansui turntable.
A perfect fit and it improves the sound 100%. It was a great buy- even if they
don't cost $7.00 anymore. Thank you for your help with my purchase and for your
advice on rebalancing the arm. I can't say I expected tech advice when I was in
search of a new needle. I only wish I had more stereo needs. However, if I hear
